SNEHA was formed in the year 1990 by a group of committed and professional social workers along with like-minded individuals who have experience in implementing various development activities. The main goal of SNEHA is to address poverty, discrimination, and exploitation.
SNEHA believes in a participatory approach and involves communities in all aspects from planning to evaluation. It conducts need-based surveys and facilitates the implementation of government programs in its operational areas. SNEHA Organization has been active from the early stages of the Coronavirus pandemic, providing non-medical support across different regions.
SNEHA strives for a Society with Socio–Economic equity, especially the marginalized, oppressed, and other vulnerable sections to live with self-respect and dignity.

Established SNEHA Em School in the year 2000 in order to provide quality
education to the poorest of the poor in the villages and in urban slums.
Families having low income
are eligible to join in the school. They have to pay nominal amounts as their tuition fee. School
has The sections from L.K.G to 7 th class.
SNEHA has been implementing this programme since year 2002. Established a Girls
Home named Stafan Children’s Home in order to provide residence, food, Education and Health to the
identified children.
Preference will be given to the orphans, semi orphans and poor children in the

underserved communities.
SNEHA has been implementing education to the orphans, semi orphans and poor children in the villages. The child will be supported until she completes her education /skill training and able to stand on her own.
Implementing the tribal development project for 650 tribes. There are two types of activities. one is the plantation in for 500 families covering 500 acres. The second one is to provide the income generation to 150 landless tribes.
School has The sections from L.K.G to 7 th class. Government sanctioned recognition up to 2027. We are providing free education to 25% of the total children under the RTE Act..
SNEHA has been implementing skill development for the Adolescent girls, women and youth in multiple trades like, tailoring, Embroidery, bathic painting, candle making, carpentry, cell phone repair and electrical wiring and repair.
Capacitation of Women groups. Organizing women empowerment programmes. Organizing orientation to SHGs on Accounts and group management, Establishment of linkages with Government departments and providing skill trainings to women groups.
